Press releases Berghof Testing

Our drive: E-Mobility - Unique test systems from Berghof for quality assurance in laboratory and production

Manufacturers of energy storage systems as well as of BLDC engines in the automotive industry place high demands on their test systems: For example, they need to simulate highly dynamic load cycles as realistically as possible, as well as the entire environment in the real application case. Berghof meets these high requirements with flying colours: With its climatic endurance tester for electrical and mechanical testing of BLDC drives – if desired even in oil baths. And also with its many years of experience with test systems for drive batteries for electric cars and for high-voltage storage systems.

Press coverage about Berghof Testing

Excellent: Quality inspection with the robot and 3D scanner

Independent of stray light, contrasts and reflections: Berghof Testing has developed a system consisting of 3D scanners and a robot that inspects components at the end of assembly lines – without cameras. The company has now received the "German Innovation Award 2021" for this.

Our drive: electric motors

Report in StandPUNKT Magazine 2021/2022: With the endurance tester for BLDC motors from Berghof Testing, it has been possible for the first time to combine electric and mechanical engine testing in one test bench. Oils with different degrees of soiling can be used here and up to six test items can be tested in parallel in the oil bath – just like in the real-life application of the engines. A climate chamber displays the entire temperature range in the environment. (only available in German)

Test system with highly dynamic load profiles for BLDC motors

Test systems used in quality management are designed to accurately recreate the operating environment of the test items. For this purpose, system developer Berghof Testing has created several endurance test benches, which also enable the driving of highly dynamic load profiles for testing electric motors. Up to eight brushless DC motors can be operated in this way.
