Application report: Electrical and optical bumper testing – fully automated, fast, highly flexible
In recent years, Berghof Testing has repeatedly added new, innovative features to its test concepts for bumper test systems and has thus become the market leader in automated testing of bumpers. Our latest and most elaborate bumper test system to date now achieves new benchmarks in terms of cycle time, flexibility and degree of automation. The biggest highlights: With the help of a driverless transport system, the test bench can be operated completely workerless. And: Thanks to a tracking shot completely without interruptions, the inspection robot can handle a full 55 inspection features in a cycle time of less than 45 seconds.

Application report: Combination of electric and hydraulic BLDC testing
Berghof Testing has expanded its proven test system for BLDC motors to include a unique new function. The climatic endurance test bench is now able to test motors in their real hydraulic environment. Your advantage: You can therefore test them in oil as they will be used later in reality – and this can be done under absolutely realistic conditions. The system tests the components according to the life cycle of the motors with different types of oil, different degrees of contamination of the oil and, thanks to the climatic chamber, in the complete temperature range.

Application report: Optical testing with 3D scanner
A new approach to component testing: The Smart Component Tester SCoT from Berghof Testing performs an visual inspection of automotive components using 3D scanning. This enables the test system to handle changing light conditions, stray light, contrasts and reflections in the best possible way. That allows flexible use for a large number of different components and variants – the Smart Component Tester is suitable for test specimens such as door panels, seats or spoilers. Further highlights: SCoT works without workpiece carriers, with a special software solution based on LabVIEW and a virtual camera.

A renowned seal of quality on the market is the National Instruments “LabVIEW” certification program from our technology partner National Instruments. It consists of three levels – starting with the “Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD)” over the “Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD)” up to the most demanding level the “Certified LabVIEWArchitect (CLA)”.
With the successful certification for example of Fabian Zons (CLA) Berghof's testing technology continues to guarantee its customers the best results and a consistently high level of quality.

For some years now, 3D image processing systems have been increasingly finding their way into modern production lines. Of course, Berghof is also up to date with this future technology.
